Does weight watchers really work?

I am 19yrs old and currently 220lbs. I weighed 150 lbs when I started taking birth control. I am 5′5 and pretty curvy so 150 was the perfect weight for me. I have tried everything from exercise, diet’s, diet pills, having my thyroid tested (results were normal) and have recently changed my prescription. I also just signed up for weight watchers and I really want to know if its going to work or am I going to get disappointed again?

Actually Weight Watchers is one of the few diets that really does work, because it TEACHES you how to eat healthily and it gives you SUPPORT.

    Good choice! Stick with it.

no it really works.its cool because its not a diet you can eat what you usually eat except you eat a certain amount.its easy they have books for eating in or eating out.you get a certain amounts of points to eat and everything you eat has points.you never get hungry and you lose weight.my grandma did it and lost alot of weight.and she didnt exercise either.im not sure how much weight she lost and in what time but it does work.i think its the best thing to do.its not a diet its a lifestyle, you can eat the same food and still see improvements!!!

The first thing to learn about diet pills is how and why different types work so that you can find the best one for your own body. There are some good articles posted here that explain how and why different types of diet pills work. http://www.weightlossfatloss.us/diet_pills.asp Find the right one and they work great.

yes. you seem like my identical twin. but you have to stick to it to make it work. Sticking to it = honest effort for 6 months.

Yes, Weight Watchers will really work if you stick to it. My wife lost 48 lbs very easily doing weight watchers and walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week. She now weighs around 135. The good thing about the point system is that you can pretty much eat the foods that you love, you just have to eat less of it to maintain your daily point totals. You’ll learn over time that by eating healthier, you will also fill fuller.
