I’d like to try the weight watchers diet, but of course I’m a student and thus a little cheap. I don’t want to pay the $50+ to sign up or anything…
How many calories would a 5′6 140lb female need on the weight watchers to get to 115lbs?
And exercise?
I’m fairly muscular in the butt/legs etc where [...]
Weight watchers uses a point system to help their members stay within a prescribed range of daily food intake. Are there a certain number or average number of food calories per WW point?
Would Weight Watchers be better since it incorporates fat content? Or does calorie counting work just as well for losing weight?
The program I use is CalorieKing for Mac. I also reenter the data for PeerTrainer.
Are the WW’s meetings really helpful?
My husband is allowed 44 points a day on Weight Watchers, how many calories is that?

However, if you exercise in colder temperatures, wouldn’t that cause you to burn more calories, as your body must work harder [...]
In other words, if you’re on, say, a 1400-calorie-a-day diet and excersizing regularly, how much of a difference in your weight loss will you see if you eat 1400 calories of McDonalds every day vs. 1400 calories of whole wheat toast and tofu?
I do a lot of biking. I use a heart monitor which measures my calories burned during my ride. I’d like to know how many calories I need to burn to equal one point under the Weight Watchers program. I read somewhere that 50 calories equals one point, but I’d like to [...]
