Which way will I lose more weight on weight watchers?

If I get 20 points a day on weight watchers, do I have to use all of those 20 points in order to lose weight? Someone told me that if I didn’t use all of my 20 points I wouldn’t lose weight.
my points are 18-25, but I usually just base it on 20 points, but for the last two nights I have had like 5.5 and 6.5 points left over and I don’t want to eat late at night. I am just wandering if I eat less than my points will I gain?

If you’re under by a couple of points from time to time its not a huge deal.
But seriously, I mean….a couple (as in up to 2 points under)…and from time to time (as in maybe once a week).

If you eat less than your points that means you are consuming less calories that your minimum. And when you do that you screw up your metabolism. Your body thinks you are in “starvation mode” and will actually hold on to fat.

If you are under your points have a cup of skim milk or a yogurt or banana…..

That is the maximum amount of food points you are allowed to have in one day. Following the daily points and excercise should lead to weight loss. Not eating to the maximum points is not healthy and is borderline of starving. Be sure to make healthy “point” selections and if you go over be sure you are consuming foods like fruit and vegetables. Ask you Weight Watcher’s Meeting Leader if you are consfued. Before and after the meetings they have advising available.
